Developing & Sticking to a Vocal Training Schedule

Developing and sticking to a vocal training schedule is essential to becoming a great vocalist. Remember the old saying “Practice makes perfect” well it’s a fact.

Although practice makes perfect; you do not want to be out of commission by straining your voice to the point where it is rendered useless. Over training your voice can cause irreparable damage.

You should create a sensible training schedule for vocal training. Typically comprised of 30 minutes of training a day for beginners to 60 minutes for more advanced vocalist. Anything beyond that; you should seek the council of an experienced vocal coach who can ascertain weather or not you require such a rigorous vocal training regimen; or if it is not in your best interest to train beyond the 1hr time frame.

Sticking to a schedule can help you to steadily head in the direction of your goals; no matter what area they may be in.
